Does Tom Delonge Sing Back-up In An MXPX Song?

song: wrecking hotel rooms
Does Tom Delonge Sing Back-up In An MXPX Song?
No, but his old Blink-182 bandmate Mark Hoppus does. (Mark also co-wrote the song, it is on MxPx's latest album "Panic")(He also provided additional vocals on the MxPx song "The Empire", on "Passion of the Christ: Original Songs Inspired by the Film")
Reply:mark also provided back up vox for "wrecking hotel rooms" Report Abuse

Did Avril Lavigne sing back-up for Kelly Clarkson's song "Judas"?

Did Avril Lavigne sing back-up for Kelly Clarkson's song "Judas"? It sounds like it!!! What do you think?
Did Avril Lavigne sing back-up for Kelly Clarkson's song "Judas"?
Kelly did all the backup vocals for all the tracks on her new album. It's probably in the booklet somewhere... but I know I've heard her in interviews that she did all her backup vocals.
Reply:no...she would have been credited in the liner notes.

I don't actually think it is possible with out installing something or paying for it

Reply:Well you don't have to sign up for anything, but you do need to invest some time and money. You could get a user-made firmware so you can download a homebrew program to play internet radio on your PSP. You'll probably have to buy another PSp battery. Google Pandora Battery and you'll find all the info you need.

Good luck. When I was trying to make the Pandora Battery it sparked and I had to buy another one. Homestly i thought the battery was gonna explode! lol

Is "Dixie Chicks, Shut up and Sing", a political movie or a movie about Free Speech?

Or about neo-conservative wackos trying to stifle the truth?
Is "Dixie Chicks, Shut up and Sing", a political movie or a movie about Free Speech?
God forbid the Dixie Chicks have a voice other than singing. Good for them.
Reply:Stifle the truth? That's a good one. Maybe it's just a movie about them trying to justify the fact that their mouthpiece, Natalie Mains shot off her mouth and alienated almost their entire fan base, then they got all pissy about it because that fan base stopped buying their music. They can't have it both ways.

I'm sure that you never even noticed but don't you think that it's strange that the Hollywood Press awarded the Dixie Chicks a Grammy for their music But the Academy of Country Music did not? That's because the Hollywood Press is made up of like minded liberals who don't buy their music but love their stupid liberal politics and the Academy of Country Music is fan based on those who bigmouth Mains alienated and they can't sell a CD there either. She should have kept her pie hole shut.

Her saying that she was ashamed that the President of the USA came from Texas was just plain stupid, especially in front of a huge crowd of people who don't feel that way, and those people decided that she'd wait a long time for them to spend a dime on her again. My local Country Music station doesn't play their music because the listeners don't want to hear it.
Reply:Again I missed the "stifling the truth" memo. I keep forgetting to go to those secret meetings. As for the Dixie Chicks, I know I look to a mediocre country music group for my political philosophies.
Reply:Free Speech? WTF would it have to do with free speech? Did the government prevent them from speaking?

What happened is they opened their fat unintelligent mouths and made a statement that the folks who buy their music, go to their concerts and play their music on the radio didn't care for. So, in their acts of Free Speech, they stopped buying, stopped listening, stopped palying the Dixie Twits.

And some truly stupid people started talking about "free speech". They had free speech, and they had a free speech reaction to that speech.

Or were people not supposed to be allowed to not support them?
Reply:Put it this way,the Dixies are no Dylan.
Reply:All of the above
Reply:I think it's none of the above, actually. It's about making an album, albeit in the context of how politics has affected their situation.
Reply:I really don't care what it is. I used to listen to their music, because it was good. Then they got more interested in political causes than producing good music, now I won't waste my money on anything they do.
Reply:No, I think it is a song about a bunch of inbreds who have little talent and should be happy anyone wants to listen to their garbage.
Reply:I thought it was another 'documentary'.
Reply:The Dixie chicks suck. who cares about what they say.

I would love to do all 3 of them though.
Reply:The Chicks are morons, I didn't like them before and I don't like them now!
Reply:Until I saw your second sentence, I was prepared to give a decent answer. Your childishness makes this unworthy of an answer, do grow up.
Reply:I actually knew the chicks ,back in the day when they had their head on straight!! Pre Natalie Mayne!!! who is a true left wing nut

How to Warm- Up for singing Properly?!?

Well I just dont know how to warm up that well. So like wat could I do, and wat could I do to calm my nerves I just need advice. Thanks
How to Warm- Up for singing Properly?!?
Begin with basic scales at first. Then chromatic scales beginning with C and ending with C. End each scale with an arpegio and move up a half step to the next chromatic note in the scale and repeat. Spend at least 10-15 minutes on warming up before a performance. I hear that Celine Dion eats potato chips before she sings to lubricate her throat. Oh, and avoid dairy or chocolate before singing as these can make you phlemy. Happy Warmups!
Reply:Cajun Martini
Reply:Humming is a very good warm up. When you get up to sing , find someone in the crowd to sing to, and put your heart and sole into the song you preform. If you don't see anyone you like, look just above, ever ones head and look back and forth slowly.
Reply:do your scales....,after doing thatfor a while sing a song thats kinda difficult..or challenging vocally, then drink a warm cup of peppermint tea..then go for it.

The song "make me loose control" by eric carmen, did The Beach Boys sing back up?

I'd have to say no. I've always liked Eric Carmen's music, and this is a song I've heard quite a few times. I've checked a couple dozen sites, with reviews of the album it's on (The Definitive Collection), and not once is it mentioned that the Beach Boys did the backing vocals. If they had, I'm sure it would.

Come on and throw you hands up and sing it with me babeh.......?

Did Mick Jagger sing back up vocals in Carly Simon's "You're So Vain"?

yes he did sing uncredited backing vocals.

Warren Beatty said: see below

Recently, Beatty admitted that he in fact believes he is the subject of the song, saying: "Let's be honest. That song was about me." [

However, the speculation continues, with many fans considering it more of a general, rather than specific, indictment of vanity. Simon has yet to confirm Beatty's statement.

Yes.
Reply:yes he did. :-) he thinks that song is about him.
Reply:Can't miss his voice there. They even had the same lips.
Reply:Yes, Mick Jagger did sing on that song. You can really hear him towards the end. The song wasn't about him, though, but it's pretty obvious it was about Warren Beatty. Carly Simon did have an affair with him in the early 1970s and he was known for being quite vain and charming.

Why did Frank Sinatra say this about Elvis and then end up sing with him on his show ?

Ok I got this from wikipedia :

Even Frank Sinatra opined: "His kind of music is deplorable, a rancid smelling aphrodisiac. It fosters almost totally negative and destructive reactions in young people."[109] Presley responded to this (and other derogatory comments Sinatra made) by saying: "I admire the man. He has a right to say what he wants to say. He is a great success and a fine actor, but I think he shouldn't have said it... This ... [rock and roll] ... is a trend, just the same as he faced when he started years ago

If Frank Sinatra though Elvis' music was so "deplorable" then why did he sing with him on his show ?
Why did Frank Sinatra say this about Elvis and then end up sing with him on his show ?
oohh gee Do you think they may have had a heart to heart behind the scenes. After all I think Sinatra was talking about the music genre itself and as "Dr W" said, Sinatra had a similar experience when he was starting out.

So they must have said to each other :

"whatsamatter, put it under the carpet and no more talk about that; it's not why we are here. We are here to entertain people aren't we ?!...so let's get on with it."
Reply:Thank you so much for this BA !

Reply:Sinatra was probably referring to rock and roll in general, he didn't care for it.

And of course he's going to perform with him,,,turning down a chance to perform with Elvis Presley would be like someone refusing to perform with,,,Frank Sinatra.

Interesting bit of trivia, Frank Sinatra considered "Strangers in the Night", his biggest hit, to be the "worst piece of **** song I've ever heard".
Reply:people can and do change their minds.example, when i first worked with this guy called bill,i hated him.we eventually both quit.i met bill again 11 years later, ran into him in a coffee shop.u guessed it-a year later,i married bill.if u had heard the way i laughed at him the first time we met,u never would have thought he'd be my beloved husband one day.people change, opinions change.
Reply:He changed his mind.
Reply:fame and money, he wanted to be associated with a famous personality even though he was one himself, Elvis was new, fresh and hot and he wanted to be seen with him.
Reply:If I remember correctly, Frank was criticized early in his career for having negative effects on young people, particularly girls, when they would swoon as he sang in concerns.
Reply:Because it finally dawned on him Elvis was here to stay so it's was like the saying goes, "If you can't beat them, join them."

Reply:Sinatra's daughter became a big rock star in the 60's so I guess he had to eat a little crow.
Reply:He got paid well to do it.
Reply:I heard about that too a while ago and I thought the same thing. When they sang together they seemed like they got along good. I have no idea why he said that. What Elvis said was good though. I guess Frank just sang with him because he got payed a lot too. I've heard something about Elvis dating Nancy Sinatra for a while. I don't know if I have that right though. Here's some pictures of Elvis and Frank together.

look for songs which suit your vocal range(i.e. soprano or alto) if its not a disney musical, dont sing disney songs. Selectures like it when you sing a song the character your auditioning for sings in the musical.

Is it true that anesthesia can mess up your singing voice?

I'm going to be getting some surgery done but I'm interested in persuing a singing career. This is something that I've heard of and I really would like to know if its fact or fiction.
Is it true that anesthesia can mess up your singing voice?
being on a ventilator for an extended period of time (days) can permanently damage your vocal muscles and reduce your speaking and singing quality. anesthesia won't hurt you at all
Reply:Anesthesia, no. Having a ventilator tube in your throat can. If the surgery you having is minor, it is unlikely that they would ventilate you. But if you have a concern, talk to your doctor. There may be alternatives. Rather then gas, they can put you out with injections.
Reply:I've never heard of that. But if you do have a breathing tube in it can make your vocal cord folds relax.
Reply:A tube is passed down your trachea between your vocal cords. This may cause some temporary hoarseness, but no permanent changes.

Boys call you sexy (What's up, sexy)

And you don鈥檛 care what they say

See, every time you turn around

They screamin' your name

[Verse 1]

Now I've got a confession

When I was young I wanted attention

And I promised myself that I鈥檇 do anything

Anything at all for the boys to notice me

[Bridge]

But I ain't complaining

We all wanna be famous

So go ahead and say what you wanna say

You know what it's like to be nameless

Want them to know what your name is

'Cause see when I was younger I would say

[Chorus]

When I grow up

I wanna be famous

I wanna be a star

I wanna be in movies

When I grow up

I wanna see the world

Drive nice cars

I wanna have Groupies

When I grow up

Be on TV

People know me

Be on magazines

When I grow up

Fresh and clean

Number one chick when I step out on the scene

[Hook x2]

But be careful what you wish for

'Cause you just might get it

But you just might get it

But You just might get it

[Verse 2]

They used to tell me I was silly

Until I popped up on the TV

I always wanted to be a superstar

And knew that singing songs would get me this far

[Bridge]

But I ain't complaining

We all wanna be famous

So go ahead and say what you wanna say

You know what it's like to be nameless

Want them to know what your name is

'Cause see, when I was younger I would say

[Verse]

I see them staring at me

Oh I'm a trendsetter

Yes this is true 'cause what I do, no one can do it better

You can talk about me

'Cause I'm a hot topic

I see you watching me, watching me, and I know you want it

[Chorus]

When I grow up

I wanna be famous

I wanna be a star

I wanna be in movies

Do i have to sing a write up from my job if i feel they are unfare?

NO NO NO

You do NOT have to sign it. The signature is SUPPOSED to represent that the message was delivered. If you refuse to sign it, another supervisor - or manager - or HR rep will come in and sign their name under the spot for you to sign and note that 'employee refused to sign.'

It's not a kiss of death but it will tick off whoever is trying to write you up.

Hope that helps!

See I'm really good at sing/acting/dancing and everyone tells me so.I will would like to meet up with?
Yeah, of course you'd like to meet up with a Hollywood record company -- you and about a million other starry-eyed hopefuls -- most of whom will never get any farther than dreaming about it.

Play out in front of audiences as often as you possibly can, get as much performing experience as you possibly can, build up a local fan following.

Then save up some money and record a demo -- a record company won't do that for you, you need to have a demo already prepared to show the record company if you want them to sign you to a record contract. Hook up with some good musicians in your area, find a local recording studio to rent by the hour, or find someone with a home recording setup who knows how to use it (more and more people have computer-based home setups now), and make a demo -- you probably don't need more than 3 or 4 songs and what you're mostly interested in is showing off your voice so don't get too obsessive about the instrumental arrangements. Then start shopping the demo around to various record companies that record music similar to the style you sing.

How can I open up my throat to hit high notes? How can I learn to sing Rock, Pop, Classical, Soul & Metal?

Or any vocal tips for that matter.
How can I open up my throat to hit high notes? How can I learn to sing Rock, Pop, Classical, Soul %26amp; Metal?
First thing you have to work on, especially when singing high, is that your voice cannot have any tension in it. You must work to sing relaxed. The best way to learn to sing relaxed is through stretching out your body and them breathing exercises.

Below is very similar to what I do for warming before I sing a single note:

Warm-ups (to be done before every time you sing)

1. March in place (2 minutes) (Singing uses muscles that must be warmed up in order to function at their peak)

2. Deep breathing (three-part breath) preparing lungs and maintaining a column of air

3. Yawning

4. Stretching:

a. Shoulder roll (five on each side)

b. Half neck roll (left side to front to right side and back)

c. Half neck roll to the back

d. Neck stretch (turn neck to the side and stretch and then for a deeper stretch turn chin down to the shoulder)

e. Arm above head stretch (lift one arm and stretch it up lengthening your ribs and then follow with the left arm. While one arm stretches up, the other stretches down.)

f. “C” stretch (lift arms above head clasp right hand with left and curl your back while extending your arms. For an added stretch, turn in the direction of the arm clasping.)

g. Shake out hands

h. Face scrunch, face big

i. Pat your head, massage face, sinuses, jaw hinge, etc.

j. Yawn

k. Horse noise

l. Yawn with “Ah”

m. Yawn with “Ah” bent over

5. Posture (preferable to stand when singing so you can keep an uninterrupted column of air)

a. Practice standing to sing. Stand with both feet shoulder width apart, your knees slightly bent and your spine straight. Pretend someone has grabbed the hair at the very top of your head and is tugging it upward slightly. Jaw is loose and breathing is relaxed.

b. Sit comfortably upright with your torso resting on your sit bones. Sit in an uplifted way with your feet flat on the floor and your gaze at a comfortable level with your eyes and jaw relaxed.

Exercise Set 1. Correct Breathing technique/Building vocal facility

1. Deep breathing correctly. Your stomach is relaxed and flowing out on inhalation. Your ribs are relaxed and expanding and your shoulders are relaxed and down. (You’ll find when you sing that [usually because of nervousness] that your shoulders start to ride up and get tense around your neck. Consciously lower and relax them whenever you notice this.

a. Inhale and exhale full deep breath five times. (your shoulders should not move. If you are breathing correctly, you stomach is what is moving, not your neck and shoulders.)

b. Inhale a full, deep breath using good technique and exhale on a whispered “Ah.” (five times). Horse noise is great for finding where you are using your breath.

c. Inhale and exhale on a closed-mouth low “Mmm.” (five times)

d. Inhale and exhale on a “Ah” sound.

e. Yawn an “Ah” sound. (five times)

2. Begin to work with making a tone on a vowel (Two finger rule [you should be able to put two fingers between your teeth during any vowel being sung])

a. Ah, b. Eh, c. Ee, d. Oh, e. Oo, f. Ah Eh Ee Oh Oo (on one note)

3. Sing with adding consonants

a. mah meh mee moh moo (nah, tah, lah, sah, kah, etc.) Do all exercises with different consonants.

b. voice/non-voiced, p/b, t/d, f/v, ch/j, sh/zh, k/g (find the others)

4. Build facility with speaking

a. Minimal Animal, Minimal Animal, Red Leather, Yellow Leather

These are absolutely necessary before you even start to sing. When you start singing in your high range, if you feel any strain what so ever in your throat, don't go any higher. Drop down to the highest note that you can comfortably sing. Work on that range until you are 100% comfortable and slowly work up till you can comfortably hit the notes you want. Remember, though, there is a limit to your range. Pushing to far to fast can damage your throat to a point you'll never get there, so proceed with caution.

do not POWER your high notes. If you have to scream to hit them, nobody is going to enjoy you singing it. Keep your voice under control at all times, and not only will you sound better, you'll be able to sing much longer, without tiring out.

Also, remember to switch to your head voice, the higher you go. As the notes get higher, the sound wave the create gets shorter and closer together and do not need as much power to generate, so lighten up on the higher notes. Think of it as an upside down cone. Your power should be on the low notes and decrease as you sing higher.

Last word of advice. Listen to yourself sing. The only way to listen to yourself is to record yourself and play it back. When working on a phrase. Record/Listen identify what is working and not working, and fix it. Then record/listen again until it is right. Then proceed up your range.

Hope this helps, and good luck
Reply:Warm up before you full on sing each time. Also, take the do-re-mi thing to a new level each time you warm up so that you will eventually hit higher, and lower, notes.

Take one genre at a time. Obviously, classical is way different than Metal and Rock and Soul aren't exactly similar either.
Reply:It's all in the breathing. Do breathing exercises to increase Your lung capacity. You should be able to push down on your diaphragm when you have filled the lungs to capacity. (the lungs do the pushing). If you smoke QUIT, it will reduce lung capacity. If your throat feels "full" like when you have a cold, eat pickles. They will reduce "Flem". Last thing practice practice practice!
Reply:adventurer has given you a lot of fabulous details to work on.

What I'd just like to add is for classical singing, we learn to use our voices in a way that lets us sing for many, many years. It's easy on the instrument, and healthy for the rest of the body. Whatever style of music you wind up singing, be sure that you are not hurting yourself to produce that sound. you'll wear out your voice, and there are no replacement parts to fix it with. Most classical singers have the potential to sing for the rest of their lives (taking into account that the voice ages as he body ages, so that by the time we're old, we don't sound so great, either). For instance, the late Luciano Pavarotti was still able to sing well, even sounding less than his age, when he died last year at age 71.

Except for Tony Bennett, and Frank Sinatra, who else can you say that about?

(Okay, okay!, but Joe Cocker and Tina Turner are the exceptions to the rule)

Just do the right thing by your voice, and it'll do the right thing by you.
Reply:Get some voice lessons. Learn to sing from your diaphragm.

Nobody can sing all those styles. You're lucky if you can master one style.

Lyrics to Run Up Get Dun Up by the Banggaz:

[Chorus: in faux patois]

Run up run up we got de gun up

Haters that think we funnin dey get done up

Run up run up we got de gun up

Haters that think we funnin dey get done up

[Hi-C - sounding like Milk Dee]

Stop schemin, and lookin hard

I got that ghetto platinum credit card

Make one phone call and fools gettin hurt

Niggaz, busters, bitches in skirts

Got a hoe in the house peepin out yo' safe

Get you naked, and duct tape your nuts to your waist

Horny *****, thought you was gettin some ****

You ain't gettin ****, ***** you got got

While I run your **** back over to the top

400 bottles of Moet gettin popped

Not even cops, can **** with Swift or the Diggler

Serve and protect, we gettin rid of ya

Put the green light on L.A.P.D.

Cause I'm tired of the motherfuckers fuckin WITH ME

I wanna bust, that's how I feel it

G ****, punk *****, we be keepin it real

[Chorus] - 2X

[Too Swift]

Invisibility like Space Ghoster

I'm comin through in my Range Rover, shoot 'em up the party's over

Cause when I'm sober like to {?} in mines

I squeeze tight as some pliers, handle my strap, with these evil designs

to kill a *****, don't step in my path

A psycho maniac ***** raw killer it's a bloodbath

The aftermath, 'll make you laugh

Cold shoot 'em up like La-Di-Da-Di when that 45 hit his body

Drop his corpse to the motherfuckin pavement

It ain't no future in that California brave ****

I guess that you thought that it was all about you

But it's all about that one 8 double-oh, hit 'em up some mo'

Niggaz always causin, drama

But Too Swift I'm gettin calmer, plottin like the unibomber

Niggaz trippin off my conversations

It ain't no confrontations, when my strap {?} like installations

[Chorus] - 2X

[Verse Three]

Now every day, all day, I'm only out for my riches

Busters and snitches be player hatin so I'm elevatin

Like elevators, regulate like regulators

Assassinate player haters, a lyrical motivator

Pull mo' raid than Raiders, so you think you can fade us?

Yes we snap like alligators and got mo' game than yo' fastest commentator

When my intellect, the dialect, subtractin conversations

Cause I'm a lethal weapon when it comes to confrontations

[Hi-C - like Milk Dee again]

We get money, money I got

Makin haters hot when I whip in the drop

Ding dong it's the bell, once again it's on

Postman dropped the package out in front of my home

Could this be a setup? ****, man let me get up

Ain't nobody comin in here, they gettin wet up

Opened up the package, it was nothin but scrilla

We gon' throw another party, this is Hi-Life *****!

5 slices bacon, finely diced, plus crisp crumbles bacon, for garnish

1/2 cup diced green onions

2 tablespoons butter

3 cups finely sliced iceberg lettuce

1/2 cup instant flour

3 1/2 cups fresh or canned chicken broth, heated to a simmer

1 cup diced fresh tomatoes

1/8 teaspoon grated fresh nutmeg

1/8 teaspoon ground red pepper

1 cup heavy cream

1/4 cup mayonnaise

1/4 cup sour cream

In a 3-quart pot, cook the bacon over medium heat until lightly browned. Add the onions and cook, stirring, until wilted. Add the butter and stir until melted. Add the lettuce and saute for 2 minutes. Sprinkle the flour into the pot, then stir it in until well blended. Remove the pot from the heat and add the hot chicken broth, tomatoes, nutmeg and pepper. Heat the soup to boiling, stirring constantly, then reduce the heat and simmer gently for 5 minutes. Add the cream and mix well.

Mix together the mayonnaise and sour cream. Serve each portion of soup with a dollop of mayonnaise mixture topped with crumbled bacon.

How do I Drink Less without singing up for AA?

For five years I drank two bottles of wine a night. I was due to go to my daughters wedding and vowed to myself that I wouldn't ruin her day by getting drunk. I only had a couple of glasses. After that I cut down to one bottle a night then one every other night until I got to one bottle a week. Also consider this. Your liver can manage quite well on 10% of it when 90% has been damaged by booze. Once you go into that 10%, you're doomed, it can't correct itself and can't manage on less than 10%. You then die. During the damaging of the 90%, you don't feel ill, so you are not aware that bit by bit you are slowly killing yourself.

Make a pact with yourself today, that you will cut down bit by bit until you can handle just drinking once a week or whatever
How do I Drink Less without singing up for AA?
I'm with bad girl exactly
Reply:If you are even considering AA then you must know you have a problem with drinking. Try now to cut down but if you find that you can't then maybe a meeting at AA will help you. I tried it even tho i was sceptical, and guess what, it helped!! It sure ain't a magic cure but with the help and support of others it works. Do yourself, and your liver, a favour and get to a meeting if controlling it is hard.....before it's too late!
Reply:The answer is in your question... here's a hint... ( DRINK LESS )
Reply:I don't know the answer, but I know how you feel. When I do drink I always drink too much and I can't stop, but I'm not an alcoholic 'coz I can stop drinking entirely if I want to and don't crave it or anything like that. Trouble is I don't want to give up my social drinking. I just want to be able to drink in moderation like a normal person. I'd love for doctors to find a solution to this problem rather than just telling us to abstain.
Reply:Stop drinking!!!
Reply:AA is for quiters!
Reply:If u hav a drinkin prob then u wont ever be able to cut down on ur drink, without help. Belive me...
Reply:I don't know how to drink moderately; it is simply impossible for me to do so. I did get sober 8+ years ago in AA, though. But if all you want is to drink less, AA isn't the way to go. We are an abstinence-based program.
Reply:Stop keeping alcohol in your home. It makes having a drink a more conscious decision.

Try taking yourself out to things that don't involve alcohol. Movies are good, hiking. If you're the giving type, try spending a few evenings a week volunteering.
Reply:I've avoided drink all my life (i'm 21) and i'm not even tempted, I just avoid all temptation and have strong will-power
Reply:The first thing to do is have a think about why you drink? Boredom, habit, craving? Once you've done that you can take action e.g. join a gym, or take a class, start writing a book, training for a marathon...whatever! If you find it's not as simple as and you think you may have an alcohol problem then maybe you should see a counsellor. I've heard Allan Carr- easy way to stop drinking is good...
Reply:be like me, I dont drink anymore, I dont drink any less.
Reply:Have your best friend kick you in the balls if you decide to have more than two drinks. Painful but should be a motivating way to get you to stop. Aight other than that i don't know no ideas mate.
Reply:Avoid pubs and clubs and dont go near off licences or shops that sell alcohol!
Reply:only you can answer that, its you that will make the changes if you want.
Reply:Im not sure, but i am sure that the AA would love you SINGING at the next meeting, might make their day lol..!!!!
Reply:stay in and drink tea
Reply:well, since u asked, i do have a drinking problem, i only have one mouth and two hands! and heres a rule i swear by, dont drink and drive, you will most likely spill your drink-lol.
Reply:Something that i am trying a the moment is this. Every time i am tempted to drink or smoke i remember that Gorden Brown takes more money from me. It seems to put me of quite well.
Reply:Work on your self control.

Get some hobbies that don't involve alcohol such as going to the gym, swimming, walking.

Try and associate with non-drinking friends. You could always go and see your GP and see if he could offer any advise.

Tel as many supportive friends as possible that you are having a month off the drink and see if you can get some of them to join you.

Why does it sound like my nose is stuffed up when i sing?

i have tried holding my nose and singing....and i sound alot better but how do i learn to not sing though my nose when im not holding my nose?
Why does it sound like my nose is stuffed up when i sing?
You'll need to take some singing lessons to learn to sing from your diaphram. I find that even though I know how to sing from my diaphram (a tall posture, hold your chin up but not too much and a few other things I can't explain) I still have air that escapes through my nose. You can try laying on the floor (like they had Chris Daughtry do in American Idol) this teaches you to feel your diaphram and you can learn what it feels like when your lungs are full of air. Other than that I can't be of much help without hearing you sing and hearing what keys you sing through your nose on.
Reply:Some poeple just have a nasaly singing voice. Don't worry about it. Unless, you're gonna be a singer. If you are, professional singing lessons help some peolpe.

How Important Is It To Warm-Up for Singing?

Wellwhen I sing sometimes I don't warm-up I know that it is bad, and I know that I should warm up. I could use some tips and advice and how should I warm up about and how to get over my nerves. THanks
How Important Is It To Warm-Up for Singing?
It is very important. As a singer, I have not always done it and my voice has gotten weaker so here are a few tips from a friend of mine who is in theater.

Animated Vocal Warm Up

Breathing - focus on a point in front of you.

Find Your Breath

Breathe Deeply (long inhales, long exhales)

Put Sound on the Breath (a sigh that begins on the exhale)

Shake the sound into the Belly (make sure the sound and breath is

coming from diaphragm)

Sound: Zoo/Wow - deep in the belly

Sound: Guh (from the sternum)

Sound: Shah -Gently tap upper chest and arms (warmup the rib cage and chest)

Jaw Warmup (use fingers on cheeks)

Tongue Warmup (chew tongue and mouth)

Tongue on a String-tip of tongue behind front teeth, pretend to pull tongue out with invisible string

Sound: ME, MAY, MAH (warm up nose and cheeks with sound, rub nostrils and cheeks with hands)

Lip tremble-high sound to low sound

Sound: REEEEEE (through top of head, down through entire system)

Shake out body

As far as nerves, it is always good to have a few butterflies. They keep you on your toes. Trust yourself, your voice, and your body. Breathe. And simply sing. Let it flow. Imagine the butterflies are streaming from your mouth and covering the world with wings of melody.

Selah.
Reply:Hi! Yes, it is very important to warm up before performing/singing. Also, you can massage your face with the tips of your fingers; this is great for the muscles of your face, so you can articulate better. For the face thing, I suggest to start counting from 1 to 10, and then back, but exaggerate the articulation.

For your warm up, do musical scales, in a chord were you feel comfortable with. Change your vowels and consonants. Try the "帽", it is great in helping you to focus the path of air into the correct position - if you don't know how the "帽" sounds like, look for a Spanish speaker person); do "帽a", "帽e", "帽i", "帽o, "帽u"... But above all things, while warming up, DON'T BREATH WITH YOUR MOUTH, BREATH WITH YOUR NOSE. If you breath with your mouth, you'll dry your vocal cords abruptly...

I hope that these tips will help you.

Hi. I'm a Coloratura Soprano and can sing from C3-C6 and whistle up to a D7. How many octaves do I have?

That's 2 octaves in full voice, and 3 octaves plus a major 2nd counting whistle.

My bf wants to sign me up for cooking class at our local community college, but i would rather sing and dance?

what do u think?
My bf wants to sign me up for cooking class at our local community college, but i would rather sing and dance?
Take the cooking class and sing and dance in the kitchen. I think you need to learn how to compromise.
Reply:You must be a lousy cook. lol Unless you can afford a good chef it might not be a bad idea to take cooking lessons. BTW, only about one in fifty thousand are good enough to make it as a singer/dancer.

I noticed that you can't ask a question about anything unless it involves something about your boyfriend. Don't you have a personal identity apart from him? Why is HE always the one making the recommendations and decisions? I hope he doesn't have some control issues.
Reply:You are funny. I think that you should sing and dance! Tell him that there are a lot of places that deliver, or he could cook himself, or that you'll go to the store and by him some frozen dinners. He can heat them up while you're singing ;)

How long, exactly, should you warm up before singing?

I'm a musical theatre performer, so I do a lot more of the mezzo/belter stuff than opera. I really want to keep my voice healthy. Is there a certain period of time I should warm up before singing? Are there specific exercises I should do?
How long, exactly, should you warm up before singing?
The amount of time you spend warming up is individual to your voice. You have to learn how much is too little and how much is too much basically through trial and error. For me, I can run fine on about three minutes of warm up, while one of my friends warms up for usually around twelve minutes before a performance. One thing to remember is that before an audition or a performance, you should never warm up with your song. Again, good vocal exersises are specific to you, but here are some you can try (they're pretty generic, but you may be able to vary them so they work for you):

- Scales.. self explanatory. Go up the scale and then back down the scale. If you are more belty, don't warm your head voice up as much because using the head voice stretches the vocal chords. Vocal chords are supposed to be tight when you belt, so stretching them too much beforehand isn't the best idea. also try scales on a lip buzz to get your breathing going

- Sirens.. go from the very lowest part of your range and slide smoothly up over your break to your highest range. Don't scream so you hurt your voice, just try to hit your top legit note

-Jumping exersises.. you basically start at a note and then jump up five steps, and then come back down (for example.. middle c to g back to middle c) and then move up a half step each time

so yeah those are all basic warm ups that you can expand on and vary when you find which works best for you. good luck!

Reply:You really have to get to know your voice. Find out what exercises work best for you and how long you need. I am Mezzo and I usually warm up for about 10 mintues before a show.
Reply:WArming up your voice is good, but don't do it too much that you restrain it. I suggest about 5 mins. tops

Does warming up before singing make that big of a difference?

Does it make a big difference in your sound and help eliminate tensions, or is just so you don't do any damage or both?

I am just curious to know.
Does warming up before singing make that big of a difference?
Warming up before you sing will definitely improve your range and reduce the chance for injury to occur at extremely high or low ranges. However, it is not necessary for middle or easy ranges. As well, achieving a sound with a lot of vibrato comes easier to me personally after i warm up.

Conclusion: it isn't that big of a difference but it only takes a minute to do so why not?
Reply:Warming up makes a HUGE difference in your singing. It's a matter of whether you would like to keep your vocal cords healthy or not. If you don't care about straining your voice, then don't warm up. Just know that this also puts your speaking voice at risk of detiorating as well. You won't improve as a musician if you don't work up to anything either. Even if you are singing in your comfortable range, you should still warm up because the larynx, diaphragm, and vocal cords can weaken over time and your singing voice will get worse. Who wants that? It does in fact release tension in your voice. If you are worried about other physical and external pain, stretch out your neck and arms before singing. The upper body is where you usually tighten up so this helps a lot! Comfort is key to singing well, no matter how long or how short of a time you sing. For individual safety, please warm up before singing. It doesn't matter if you want to make it big as a musician, but if you don't take care of your voice, you will hurt yourself! If you abuse it, you lose it...first rule of singing. Please trust me on this, I know what I am talking about. I have been involved in choir and voice lessons for three years and three men in my family are recording artists. Breathe from your diaphragm, drink lots of water, don't yell loudly, rest your voice when you are ill or tired, and keep good posture so air can flow through your body and you can sustain your notes better. I hope I helped!

Shut Up & Sing-Dixxi Chicks?

I just Saw the movie... Its Awesome... The way these Girls were Bold and spoke Up their minds ... just amazed me.. How they stood Up for just what they Said and how they were against The war.. While lots of the Fans turned their Back to them...

And How They have Awesome Sing... am buyin all their albums...So wht do u think?
Shut Up %26amp; Sing-Dixxi Chicks?
I am registered as an Independent.

Which means I have an independent mind and am not influenced by the robots of blind faith (Democrats and Republicans).

Their music is great. It's a shame some corporate robots ruined our radio station choice so now we listen to oldies. It seems that to be American you must like war.

They probably said something when they were in the US but it was never reported, or supressed. You'd be surprised at what things a group such as Fox News will do with a story, or to get in a shouting match with anyone who doesn't subscribe to their views. I have no respect for a network when the head of the network is biased.
Reply:I think the Chixi Dicks should be banned from ever performing in the US again.
Reply:I'm with you!
Reply:If they want to voice their opinions about the war while they are in AMERICA, more power to them. The minute they started badmouthing our country while they were overseas in ANOTHER COUNTRY, in my opinion, they should have stayed there.

FTDC's
Reply:I dig their music, but couldn't care less about their political views. I think the whole thing was blown out of proportion. Who cares what some fat girl from Texas thinks anyway? I think celebs should keep their political views to themselves and stop trying to mold the minds of the weak.
Reply:I think that its wonderful that they are so opinionated, and know what they stand for, and i belive that that is very important. However, wether they liked the president or not, they should not have gone to another country and bashed our president. I dont agree with all of bushes tactics, but i still belive that the American people need to support whoevers in office, and the Dixie chicks had every right to not like him, but they certainly do not need to incorporate what they think of bush in a concert. They are talented, and people were there to her them sing, no listen to them give their opinion of the war. They got carried away and now they're paying for it. I used to love them, and now my opinions changed ALOT. Every American has there opinion of our president and the war, but unfortunately for them, they voiced it @ the wrong place, and wrong time, and in the wring way. And i can understand why there career will never bee the same again because of it. Natalie put her foot in her mouth, it happens to everyone, but it affected them big time. Thank you for the question, i think I'm speaking foralot of Dixie chicks -ex-lovers. Also they havent done much lately, just that not ready to make nice song, but that's it. well have nice day:)
Reply:Country radio is the big loser here by banning the most talented and most awarded country group in decades.

It's ironic that people in the communications industry want to limit communications. Go figure.
Reply:We go to concerts etc, to hear the music, not hear their political point of view! So yes SHUT UP AND SING! Dixi chicks, Linda Rndstadt and Jane Fonda and the rest of you Anti American A Holes!! If you don't like the way things are running here you are more than welcome to go somwhere else!
Reply:The proper term is the "DIXIE" chicks.

And I didn't like them even BEFORE they made their uncalled for and traitorous comments. Their music sucks, none of them can sing. They just suck and get on my nerves. And they didn't make their comments until they were OUT of the country. Yeah, they're brave alright. And everyone is against war and fighting. No one wants others to die. What those girls said was just wrong. Sure, they're entitled to their own opinion, but when your fan base is a bunch of people who are extremely patriotic, and you go and bad mouth your president, you deserve to be kicked off the radio.
Reply:Yeah, they were really brave, you know going to a FOREIGN COUNTRY to spout their crap. Yeah, ballsy. They suck, have always sucked and will always suck. JMO.
Reply:I'm all for freedom of speech........but when you bad-mouth your country while in another.....I think it shows the lack of class they have. Yes, I agree they are talented....my daughter absolutely loves their CD Home. Their music is good, but they are fools if they thought the statements they made were not going to cause backlash.

It's been a long time since this all began, and it just seems like they are trying to keep the drama alive over it so they can just keep cashing in. Honestly didn't this all begin in 2003?! We're going on 4 years of comments, magazine covers, songs and dvd's over a statement she made overseas years ago. That's a lot of time and energy wasted on them instead of something productive. I think she realizes that she has found a wound that will keep being profitable to her as long as she picks it.

I completely agree with the title.........Just shut up and sing!

Is there a Pc emulator for mac thats free, requires no installing, and requires no singing up.?

Its there in the question.
Is there a Pc emulator for mac thats free, requires no installing, and requires no singing up.?
I don't think so. At least not "portable" as you describe it.

There's too much difference in hardware between the two OSes I am afraid.

Some ASUS and Gigabyte mobos ( Intel 975X or P35 chipset) are able to run "virtually" Mac OS.

It has to be installed on a "live" Windows version AFAIK.

How do you pick up the singing with out getting feedback in Rockband and GHWt?

I heard something about using a fan or something that would help. I'm trying to hold the mic to the speaker to get it to hit the notes. But every time I make it loud, I get feedback. Every time I make it quiet, the I don't even hit the notes. I'm trying to get these hard acheivements on World Tour, mainly the one Mike checka.
How do you pick up the singing with out getting feedback in Rockband and GHWt?
hold the thing a little back from your mouth that should help alot and if it doesnt work hum the tunes that always works

Whenever I sing, my head gets heated up, is that bad?

Whenever I really try to sing like loud, is that normal because I get sort of dizzy but feels good too. Im not really a good singer too wish I was though. Im okay but when I go high, sounds pretty terrible.
Whenever I sing, my head gets heated up, is that bad?
I would think that's because the blood is rushing to your head.

but the big problem is right now i live in new Jersey going to a school here

but my parents wont let me go back to Florida to go to public school there so what shouldd i do
I want to go public school but my parents wont sing me up so what should i do?
I was in your situation when I was growing up my parents home schooled me even though I wanted to go to a Protestant school. To be honest with you your just going to have to suck it up their really isn't anything you can do. People under 18 really don't have any say in their lives. It is not fair but that is the way it is.
Reply:Unfortunately for you, if you are an unemancipated minor, it is your parents' decision about how you are educated.

If you want to get your parents to listen to you and understand your view point. Think about what message you want to get across, then approach them in the most mature manner that you can. Remain calm and hopefully they will hear you out.

Best of luck to you :D
Reply:Hang on, you not only want to go to public school, you also want to move to another state to do it? That's a pretty big ask!

Why do you want to go to public school?
Reply:Wait until your 18 and act mature about it, thats what I have to do, so next year I'll be going to public school for the first time

Who saw the movie "Shut Up And Sing" and what did you think of it?

i watched it this weekend and i loved it. i didn't realise the giant effect that it had on there lifes and on there career.
Who saw the movie "Shut Up And Sing" and what did you think of it?
It was a great documentary :) I have to admit I wasn't really a fan before I watched it, not because I didn't like them but because I hadn't really been that exposed to their songs, but I just had so much admiration for them for not backing down and sticking to their belief's after finishing this film.

How old should you sign a child up for singing lesions?

My daghter is 9 years old. When do you think I could sign her up for singing lessions? She has a great voice. And I am having twins right now, a boy and a girl.
How old should you sign a child up for singing lesions?
I found this helpful site - http://www.nymetroparents.com/newarticle...

Also, if you haven't already, I would also be looking into children's choirs around your area, as those are great ways to become more familiar with music and singing, and a good start for her, as she's a little young and I know some teachers won't accept students under 11/12 years old.

We had the same problem with my 11-year-old daughter; we found a singing instructor for her but were unsure of whether to start now or not, as my daughter's former choir director advised us not to start until she was 14, so we decided to wait.
Reply:What possible difference does the fact you are having twins make?

You should never sign your daughter up for singing lessons unless she comes to you and asks for them. It's her voice, not yours, and at nine you can't possibly tell whether she will have a great voice or not.
Reply:If she wants the lessons, now is as good a time as any. With two siblings on the way, it might be a wonderful thing to make her feel special during all the chaos to come. However, if she doesn't want to do it, don't push her. You want her to enjoy her talent, not make it a burden.
Reply:first of all i'm pretty sure you mean lessons because a lesion is a cut.. and i don't think you want to sign your kid up for that.

if you want to sign her up then you need to find places in your area and get in contact with them and go from there with the LESSONS.
Reply:you can sign them up at 3 or 4 and 9 is good
Reply:Now would be fine.

Will 'Shut Up & Sing', the Dixie Chicks documentary be released in Australia?

Will 'Shut Up %26amp; Sing', the Dixie Chicks documentary be released in Australia? We saw the preview/trailer at their concert last year and hoped it would be released early this year but I haven't heard anything about it since.
Will 'Shut Up %26amp; Sing', the Dixie Chicks documentary be released in Australia?
It is on the calendar for the sydney film festival for June 15, 2007 so i would say it is safe to assume that it willl be released there shortly.

Reply:Walking on Sunshine... Not so much for the lyrics, but the rythm... Though, I don't really sing to them; actually a tend to jump like rabbit more than to sing... Well, that's for the simple things... For the real depressions, I listen to what they have to say, and tell them that for 2 days I'll let them cry; but afert that I'm in charge... So, basically I have them going out; it's very time-consuming though... However, in traumatic events, it's not good to let people feel depressed for too long (I think after the sixth day, you got to take that person to the Psych)... that's why I get in charge...

okay. i believe i can sing. i think i am like really good but i don't know what to do to warm up it up like regular people do to sound even better. so i just need to know what sort of things i can do?
What things are good to warm up your voice to sing so its sounds better?
Drink vodka.
Reply:eat mint-flavored candy but avoid eating chocolates and peanuts. don't drink softdrinks. drink lots and lots of water.
Reply:Humming works really good for me
Reply:It is something, which is not supposed to be discussed in public.

aka, do re me fa so la ti do

Do not drink milk or consume milk products if you want to sing in public. These products produce phlem(spit/mucus) in the mouth and throat and disturb your instrument. happy singing.
Reply:Warm tea with honey and don't talk for awhile
Reply:swallow a cap full of vegetable oil because it lines your throat and makes it all slippery and warms up the vocal chords. Someone did it on american idol 2nd season (treneese was her name i think but im not sure how to spell it) but I've heard you sing well crazy singing but even thats awesome! you should go on american idol!...seriously!

Is it true that if you eat a lemon before you sing your voice clears up??

Yes... and no. The acid will cut through the phlegm, but too much will actually dry out your throat, creating more phlegm. What I;ve found that works well is apple juice -- which is slightly acidic, but less so that lemon juice -- or non-diet Coke. Yes, Coke. I know it sounds counter-intuitive, but it works. Then there's always water, which is good. Another good way of clearing the pipes is through a series of vocal exercises (I studied classical voice for 8+ years, by the way). Sing "Nyah!" down a sliding scale, and singly. That clears the sinus passages like nothing else I know of!
Is it true that if you eat a lemon before you sing your voice clears up??
lol this tha 1st time iv heard that ..

but idk probly .. u shud try it lol
Reply:A little lemon juice in water will clear your throat - pure lemon makes your throat produce flem to protect itself from the acid; not a good thing. Even better is beer! -the slight amount of alchohol clears your throat. A lot of water is good too.

I just woke up with a sore throat but I have to sing in 2 hours... HELP!!!?

I just woke up with a sore throat but I have to sing in 2 hours... HELP!!!?
Hot tea with a little honey, drink it, and bring some with you to keep lubricating your throat...

Take a long hot shower and let the water hit your throat.

Warmth is the key, even heated apple juice...
Reply:HOT to WARM Tea, with honey and Lemon.

Also if you're going sing a lot... get a commercial THROAT SPRAY.

As the music director for a VOCAL GROUP... I keep the throat spray in my MIC BAG.

When one of my Four or FIVE vocalists are DOWN - the whole sound of the group is damaged.
Reply:Lemon drink.

p.s. if you ever feel a cold coming on, a lemon drink can sometimes wipe it right out.
Reply:Just lip sink it.Don't worry about that.
Reply:Warm tea always seems to work.

Has anyone seen the Dixie Chicks movie "Shut Up %26amp; Sing"?
i've seen it about 3 times now and i absolutely love it, it really shows how they are not just a bunch of stupid uneducated girls like some people think and shows how strong they are as individuals and as a band
Reply:No I haven't but upon your recommendation I am going to. I love the Dixie Chicks and not for the obvious reasons.
Reply:The Dixie chicks rock. I'll definitely check out the movie, thanks for the heads up.
Reply:No, i never liked the dixie chicks.
Reply:No ma'am. I dislike the Dixie Chicks for this reason. They came to Cleveland to put on a concert while I was working for this parking garage. It was sold out and everyone was pumped. My boss was charging 20 bucks to park because the garage was right across the street from the Arena. I have never seen such a sight than 10,000 people surrounding the Q waiting to be let in. At the last minute, they cancelled and all the pissed off people came back to the garage steaming, wanting their money back. I literally had to take off my company's shirt and get FAR away because I thought they would take my head off. My boss didn't want to give refunds, so people were SO ticked. It was pretty scary. I like their political views though...

Why do birds sing when the sun comes up?

Actually, most wild birds start singing well before dawn. And only they know why!
Why do birds sing when the sun comes up?
I think they're trying to signal each other on where the worms and berries are. Have you noticed that birds are not selfish. They fly together, play together, sing together. Seriously, I don't know why, but it sounded good to me when I thought it. LOL
Reply:THey wake up and keep in touch with each other with their singing. Territory identification. But I also like to think they are so happy that its morning again.
Reply:lots of reasons, A NEW DAY, new begining, and you feel good, life is beautiful. many reasons.
Reply:When the birds wake up they start to sing. It is dangerous to fly or hunt during the dark, unless you are adapted for it; like the owl. So most birds sleep at night and wake up at dawn. A lot of insects do the same. If dew collects on the ground then it can drive some insects to the surface. That's why worms come out when it rains. Other insects come out with the dew to drink it.

A bird's song is primary done for sexual reasons. Roosters (male chickens) crow to challenge any other roosters in the area and stake out their claim to this flock. Other birds could have the same reson. Some birds sing to attract a mate or to announce that they are looking for one. The birds that don't sing are those that are trying to hatch an egg or protect their chicks. Sometimes the other parent will sing to lure potential predators away. Another good trick is the "limp wing hop."

Then some birds sing just because that is what they do. A few others will sing to mock or drive out other birds--then it is competition for space.
Reply:because they are happy
Reply:They do it to let me know its time for me to go to bed.
Reply:because they want to wake up the insects so they can eat them

I took care of the problem. I went on line and found the singer web site and found instructions. It was the timing. It is fixed now. thanks for your answers. Report Abuse

Reply:If you have your receipt of purchase, take it back to the store and get a replacement.

If you don't or it is used, take it to a local repair shop. You will get better service at a local store than at Sears. Sears will have to ship it somewhere else and you'll end up paying for that.

My advice is drop the Singer and get a better machine!

A songbird ( not a pet ) just showed up in the tree in the front yard and continues to sing?

I live in a pretty urban area and it gets no response from other birds ( never really heard other birds that much anyway ) did I mention it started ay 11:00pm -- and has gone for 2 hours ( and counting ) Are there any folk tales or omens I should watch for ? or any other explanation ?
A songbird ( not a pet ) just showed up in the tree in the front yard and continues to sing?
They say small song birds carry the souls of the dead to the after world. Know anyone who's close to death? Dead? Wish they were dead? :-D The wren is said to have tricked the eagle into flying higher than the clouds and when the eagle tired the wren was full of energy and stole the title of highest flying bird from him. Small song birds are also seen as symbols of joy/happiness and good luck. It depends on the species and what culture you're from. Most societies, though, see birds as messengers of the gods/God.

From a biological sense it sounds like it's a male protecting his territory. He'll be a pest for most of the warm season, which can be a good or bad thing if you enjoy or hate his company. He may even have a nest with chicks he may be feeding.

Reply:A song bird that shows up is just that....a song bird. The explanation is that it either lives in the area and decided your yard is a good place to sing for a while, or it is migrating through and stopped in your yard. If it is looking for a mate and is not getting a response, it will probably try somewhere else.

What does it look like?

Is it ever too early to sing my son up for fight club?

Everyone at work thinks that I'm in some kind of fight club cause of my bruises and stuff. But it's just my 2 1/2 year old boy that's too rough with me. Is it time to let him use his creative side on someone else? I think he can be a great leader and it would keep me from having to buy so much ice for my bruises. Good idea to sign him up now?

I am going motorcycle shopping tomorrow, taking cash, should I hold up the cash and sing "I'm In The Money"?

When I first walk into the motorcycle dealer should I wave the cash in the air and sing " I'm In The Money", or instead of singing should I just hold up the money and laugh?
I am going motorcycle shopping tomorrow, taking cash, should I hold up the cash and sing "I'm In The Money"?
Bring a big box of donuts and just let them know you actually HAVE money. They probably get a lot of posers in there.
Reply:If a dealer doesn't want to service you before the sale, how do you think they'll act after the sale is made and the money is already in their pocket?

The only reason I'm not on a Triumph right now is because when I visited the dealership, the sales people were more interested in the coffee and chit-chat within their clique than they were in showing me a couple of bikes. fm.

I prefer to have a friendly showing and negotiation when I purchase from a business.

This also goes for restaurants who's waitstaff is uninterested. fm
Reply:Get all that money in pennies, put them in a wheelbarrow, roll that guy into the showroom and dump it on the floor. They'll have a hard time ignoring that. If you're feeling particularly annoying, just lay down in the pennies and roll around like a dog on a stinky mattress or root through them like a pig looking for acorns. They'll either come wait on you or call the funny farm to come get you, but either way you will have gotten their attention.
Reply:do not brag about your cash if you are a serious buyer they will try for it all. For an attention getter sit on the bike you want to buy and a sales person will no doubt be over by you shortly. Bike dealers really seem to frown on that especially if you take the do not sit sign off the bike.
Reply:I would unzip your pants and let some of it stick out of your zipper. Have some sticking out the top of your pants too, and maybe out the cuffs of your jeans.

If nothing else, you will get their attention.
