around thanksgiving time and i cant sing (i can't get the sound out only aie is coming out) what should i do? will i be okay?

if the problem is from the cold then take a tablespoon of strong horseradish. it will clear your sinuses and any Flem in your throat and nose.

I just cough to the brink of puking when I take a shower, I smoke weed and that gives me a nasty build up of resin-y black phlegm that pokes its ugly head out every three months or so, affecting my voice until it clears then im back to normal

Secondly, how much caffeine do you consume? That can dry out your vocal cords very easily. Try resting your voice for a few days and drink a lot of water.
