The song "make me loose control" by eric carmen, did The Beach Boys sing back up?

I'd have to say no. I've always liked Eric Carmen's music, and this is a song I've heard quite a few times. I've checked a couple dozen sites, with reviews of the album it's on (The Definitive Collection), and not once is it mentioned that the Beach Boys did the backing vocals. If they had, I'm sure it would.
